Are open access articles peer-reviewed?

Open access articles appearing on publishers’ websites are peer-reviewed in the same way as any other article. Repositories may contain a mixture of pre- and post-prints depending on the policy of the repository. It is standard practice to link the post-print to the published version within a repository record.
